Gippsland Migration Memorial 2007
Cast Bronze Figure
2100 mm high
Commissioned by Gippsland wall of Migration Committee
Morwell, Victoria
This 2.1 metre high bronze sculpture was designed to tell the story of migrant workers coming to set up their new life in Australia. Carrying all he owns, this heroic figure gazes into the new horizons and marks the public space as a civic park. This bronze is traditionally modelled and cast and is a permanent memorial (with delete) in this major town.
